我的孫女兒 My Granddaughter

This dress she wears was specially designed and sewed for her by her GuGu Aunt Ruth

This is from my six-year-old granddaughter

今天收到我六歲孫女兒的來信；打開一看，是她畫的畫兒和自製的卡片。

我媳婦兒前一陣子曾告訴我，孫女聽說我腳傷疼痛，她想要畫一幅畫兒送給我，讓我高興。

沒想到，這畫兒竟不早不晚、在聖誕節這天到了我的手中 ！

我滿心溫暖，恍忽又回到我女兒小時候的甜蜜日子。

謝謝妳，孫女兒寶貝，妳帶給了姥姥最棒的一個聖誕節！

I received a letter from my six-year-old granddaughter today.  Inside there was a beautiful picture she drew and a nice card that she made for me.

My daughter-in-law had told me the other day that my granddaughter wanted to draw a picture for me to make me feel better because my ankle still hurt.

I didn’t expect that this picture would come right on the Day of Christmas this year!

My heart was so warmed; it almost felt like I had gone back to the old sweet days when my daughter was a little girl.

Thank you, Calla, my dearest granddaughter, you have made my day, a most special Christmas Day!
