竟然讀得津津有味，這真是神奇妙的恩典

屋外爆竹聲劈哩啪啦，屋內小電扇呼呼作響.....

昨天，當美國進入她的第238個建國慶祝，我也拉起了編譯《教會歷史》的序幕.....曾經，我讀歷史等於嚼臘，如今可有滋味兒了！

因為耶穌。

忽然，有一點感觸； 上帝賜福，但上帝並不是一個偶像，祂也不是一個符。

為什麼，當年以基督教立國的美利堅，如今已全然不同？是不是因為人們不敬拜上帝，只是敬拜祂的「符」力？

十六世紀宗教改革，曾經讓羅馬教廷的「符力」受到挑戰，並引導基督徒回歸敬拜的自由。
500年後的今天，是否也該是我們基督徒省察「心靈自由」的時候？


On July the 4th, I started the research and translation of the church history.

Though used to hate history, I so love it now, because of my Lord Jesus!

God does bless, but He is not an idol, nor is he a symbol.

America was founded in the name of God, but why has she changed?  Could it be that this country worships "the symbol of God" instead of God Himself?

The reformation in the 16th century did challenged the "symbol worship" of the Roman Catholic churches at that time, and bring Christians back to their "freely worship".

Now, after 500 years, could it be time for you and I to examine our freedom as well?
